Met here with some friends for breakfast and cannot figure out how I didn't know about this place before!! It's so quaint and warm people are always coming and going with fresh bread. I got the cinnamon twists and a milk. The picture is half of one twist, they were bigger than I thought! Which worked out as I ate the other one for breakfast the next day. The woman at the cashier was really nice and personable. After breakfast we were taking pictures of front and she came out and offered to take them for us! So sweet! I will definitely be back!

I wish I could leave 6 stars. I think I enjoyed the treats so much because they exceeded my expectation. I ordered two sweet kolaches and a cinnamon roll but each were way too much for one person to eat. They open at 7 and I came in around 930 but the specific item I came in for was sold out so if your mind is set on one item, you should come in as soon as they open. Also, call about the menu because not everything if offered daily.

Best bakery in San Antonio hands down!! I can’t believe it has taken me so long to visit. Everything I tried was delicious! I’m not usually a scone eater, but their bacon cheddar scone was pure perfection

We have been in town working across the street from this bakery. I wasn't able to try it until today(Tuesday) as its closed Sunday and Monday. I went in to take a look around 10 am and I was like a kid in a candy shop. The bakery is huge and open(I love getting to see how they do everything. the bread had just been pulled out of their giant oven, & brought over to the cooling rack for some flying bread trick( see video) They have samples of sweet treats and organic breads( they milled their own seeds, who does that anymore? AMAZING ✨ 💖 The staff are wonderful friendly, they answered my many questions. Glad to be working here one more day to try their croissants tomorrow 💖

I’ve driven by Broadway Bread for years (maybe a couple of decades) & never thought of trying it. I was buying bread from the high dollar Market 1 block away instead. Well when you turn 65, they will call you diabetic & you have to eat cardboard bread & tortillas. My wife told me I could instead eat freshly milled flour bread, Broadway Daily Bread. She was absolutely correct and it is deee-licious. I wish there was freshly milled flour tortillas too.

Just found this bakery today and I cannot believe I have lived in San Antonio for three and a half years without knowing about it. I bought bread, tea cake, scones, and muffins. All are scrumptious, with just the right texture and flavor. Cannot wait to go back!

The best pastries in San Antonio, hands down. 10 stars! The prices are very reasonable. I told the cashier that we had never been there and asked what she recommended. She gave a quick intro to all the current options (and let us know what other pastries they make and which ones are likely to sell out) and her personal favorites. She was very friendly, sweet, and helpful. There's an actual coffee bar, which I've never seen in San Antonio, and my husband was incredibly happy being able to try the four caffeinated options (there was one decaf). He loved the hazelnut and the Costa Rican. We couldn't stop raving to each other about the monkey bread - that was our favorite. I devoured the pecan roll. The cinnamon roll and muffin were both delicious. They had a ton of different pecan options - a bakery after my own baking heart. My only complaints would be no bathroom (my hands were sticky after eating the pecan roll) and a very small space to sit and enjoy your pastries, but it's very easy to get a box of pastries to go.

My favorite bakery in San Antonio! I’ve loved Broadway Daily Bread since I was a kid and they had their location a bit further north on Broadway. My favorites are their cinnamon rolls (I truly have never found a better cinnamon roll than theirs), raspberry scones and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Everything is so fresh and delicious you can’t go wrong w whatever you end up choosing!

The cinnamon rolls are delicious and huge! Might be the best cinnamon rolls we’ve had. They also have several pastries. The scones are very good

Always a great variety of baked goods. Love their lemon and pecan bars as well as the blueberry muffin. Recommend you go early for a great selection. We went on a Saturday morning so parking in front was available.
